“Wesley” our amazing rescue cat, had his final stitches out on Monday 24th April, for those of you who have followed him on our Facebook page, we know you will all be delighted for him.
He was taken in as a long term stray, an entire tom, many weeks ago and due to an untreated neglected eye infection, it rendered him blind in both eyes, so very sadly he had to have major surgery to have them removed. Obviously this incurred huge veterinary costs and we (GA) are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to our appeal, which amassed a total of over £1000 towards his surgery and follow up visits. We are hugely thankful to everyone who helped “Wesley” in any way, be it financially, providing transportation to and from the vets. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to Youngs Veterinary Partnership, Hounslow and their staff for their care and assistance shown to him. If you'd like to donate to help cover some of Wesley's current and ongoing treatment please use the donate link on our homepage. Once his rehabilitation is complete, we will be looking for a truly special indoor home for him, so watch this space please!!
