Guardian Angels would like to say a huge thank to the kind lady from Southall (sorry we don't know your name), who donated a huge quantity of Tuna pouches, that apparently her own cat wouldn't eat!!
We are most grateful and it was kind of you to think of us 🐱🐈🐾🐾

First reported on Thursday 25th March - if you have an account with Petlog it might be wise to take action and check you and your animals are still registered... www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-56536389
In conjunction with our friends at Pets at Home (Hayes), as part of their Santa Paws Appeal, Guardian Angels collected this cheque at the weekend!
Pictured are Guardian Angel volunteers and some of the Pets at Home team and we’re extremely grateful for their on going support. We’d also like to thank everyone who volunteered throughout the end of last year, helping to fulfill our shift quota, enabling us to qualify for this award. The funds raised will help cover costs incurred so far, helping animals in our care and hopefully will provide for current and future cases. Congratulations to Louise Tamplin who won our raffle and will be heading to Kew Gardens this winter!
Guardian Angels Animal Support held a raffle in time for Christmas, with all money raised going towards our vet bills. A very special prize in aid of our charity - 4 complimentary tickets to Kew Gardens to be used before 25th January 2020. These were kindly donated to us to help raise much-needed funds. We love to feed our feathered friends. But take some precautions to ensure you’re not doing more harm than good...
https://ensia.com/features/human-feeding-birds-wildlife-impacts-migration/ All animal welfare organisations encourage owners of animals to get them microchipped. The cost is negligible, the procedure is painless, but if an animal does somehow get separated from its 'home environment', it can be invaluable in ensuring it can be reunited with the owner. If ever a recent story was more relevant, then it's this one - the quote from the shelter that took 'Sasha' in summarises it nicely.
"A simple microchip, which is the size of a grain of rice and is implanted under the pet's skin, helped us find the guardian of this missing cat"... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-50496781 It is with very great sadness, that Guardian Angels must inform you that on 31st October 2019, Pamela (Pam) Ling died after a short illness.
Pam was the wife of our current treasurer Mike and our deepest sympathies go to him and their family. Pam was a passionate animal lover and wonderful fundraiser and will be hugely missed. Her funeral will take place on Thursday 28th November at St Philip and St James Church Whitton at 10:30 am, and afterwards at the Mortlake Crematorium. Family flowers only, however donations in lieu can be made to Guardian Angels via T H Saunders, High Street Whitton or alternatively you can make a donation via Paypal (please mark your payments “In memory of Pam Ling”). You can find the link to our Paypal on the following page: http://www.guardianangels-animalsupport.co.uk/fundraising.html Rest in Peace Pam x ...well more accurately - autumn cleaning.
Our original website was getting old and tired. It was also a nightmare for our volunteers to administer and update. SO, the website team have worked hard on rebuilding and restructuring our site, giving it a fresh modern look. Please leave a comment and tell us what you think :) We raised the wonderful sum of £300 at our Fayre.
Thanks to all who helped in contributing to the wonderful day |
