Dear Animal Lovers,
Guardian Angels Animal Support is urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated foster carers to provide temporary homes for our rescued animals. We are currently at capacity and need your help to continue our mission of saving and rehabilitating these precious lives. Why foster? Fostering provides a safe and loving environment for animals who are waiting for their forever homes. It also helps us rescue more animals in need. As a foster carer, you play a crucial role in their journey to recovery and adoption. What we need:

We're reaching out with an urgent request for assistance. Our rescue is currently overwhelmed with adorable kittens, each in need of proper nutrition to thrive. However, we're facing a critical shortage of kitten food.
Without an adequate supply of nutritious food, these kittens are at risk of not getting the essential nutrients they need for healthy growth and development. Nursing mothers need the extra nutrients in kitten food too to be able to feed their babies, so with 9 mums and 38 kittens we're currently getting through about 150 pouches a day. Your support can make a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable animals. Whether it's through donations of kitten food or spreading the word to others or donating money for food, every action counts. We have a PayPal link, an Amazon wishlist and a food collection box at the Young Veterinary Partnership Hounslow branch. Please consider helping us in this crucial effort to ensure that these kittens receive the care and nourishment they deserve, and thank you so much if you've given already. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and give these little ones the best chance at a bright and healthy future. We had an urgent call from someone today to say she'd spotted this mother feeding her kittens at Bedfont Lakes, Feltham. All four are now safe with us and will be listed on our Cats for Adoption page when ready to go to new homes.
This happens a lot, and more now that kitten season is hitting. Mum cats need extra food to be able to feed their babies, which is why we're extra grateful right now for every penny our supporters can spare. All money raised goes to care for cats and kittens like these, This lovely couple are Sera (white) and Hank! They're a mature mated pair who enjoy bickering as much as they love cuddling and snuggling together. They both love their fruit and veggies - especially Sera, who is a real foodie - and could sleep through an earthquake, so perfect for any home, however noisy or quiet. Hank is energetic, playful and goofy, and likes to tease people and nip at their feet for attention. He loves being petted and having his nose tickled, and even allows hugs and cuddles when he's in the mood. Sera will sometimes join Hank for a good run round, but usually prefers to relax and watch whatever's happening. She's deaf, so it's best to approach her with care, but on the bright side she's completely relaxed during cage cleans, around vacuum cleaners and even during firework season. Food is always the best way to get her attention. Sera and Hank are looking for a loving, tender, forever home where they could enjoy each other's company, new friends and loads of snacks! If you'd like to find out more, please email us on [email protected]. Guardian Angels Animal Support will have a stall at the St George's Day Parade and Fun Day in Whitton High Street on Sunday 21st April. We'll have four lucky dips - for girls, boys, cats and dogs - and lots of items of all kinds for sale, including cat and dog accessories and gift hampers. Every penny raised will go towards caring for our animals.
If you're there on the day, please come and see us! We'll be in the middle of the High Street near Fireaway Pizza. If you can donate anything for our stall, please email us on [email protected]. We can't sell homemade food or objects with blades, but would really appreciate anything else. We're delighted to announce that our lovely Raven gave birth to five beautiful babies on Friday - two ginger and three black! The kittens will go up for adoption in about three months' time, once they have had their vaccinations and health checks and are old enough to leave their mum.
This is Fleur. She's five months old and a cat flu carrier, which means that she must go as an only cat or to a home with another cat flu carrier.
We'd like to find someone who would give Fleur a home, with the arrangement that she would always be a Guardian Angels cat and we would pay her vet bills. Fleur's not on our adoption page, but if you're in or near the Hounslow borough and think you might be her forever fosterer, please email us on [email protected] or fill in our Cat Homing Questionnaire. Susie came to GAAS last week. Her owner kept her for breeding, until a wonderful lady rescued her and brought her to us. The photo shows how underweight she is, but she's now safe with one of our dog fosterers.
Raven was handed in by her owners. She's 18 months old and pregnant with her second litter. We frequently take in pregnant cats, and have blogged before about being called out to save abandoned kittens. Getting cats and dogs neutered or spayed at a suitable age is crucial for their welfare and to cut down on the number of abused and abandoned mothers and kittens / puppies. Cats Protection have a neutering scheme for cat owners who are on benefits, earn under £25,000 per year or are full-time students. If this could help you, visit https://www.cats.org.uk/what-we-do/neutering/financial-assistance for more details. Flora, Shadow and Mulky have all had their operations and we have good news - Flora has full sight! She has some scarring on her eye but it doesn't bother her, so she's now on our adoption page looking for her new home.
Shadow is recovering from his tail operation and Mulky is going back to the vet on Monday for follow-up care. We couldn't have afforded the operations without your help, so THANK YOU to everyone who donated. Now we need to keep looking after these kittens and all the other kittens and cats in our care.
Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,
We are reaching out to you with an urgent plea for assistance in raising funds for three precious kittens who desperately need medical care. The first kitten is Flora (pictured). One of her eyes is still closed, so vets need to operate to open the eye to see whether it needs to be removed. Mulky has an anal prolapse. We've tried everything but she needs an operation to correct it. Shadow lost half his tail in an accident. We rushed him to the emergency vet, who said that he needs the rest of the tail taken off asap to stop infection from spreading. Despite our best efforts, we have limited resources. We're struggling to afford medical expenses for these kittens on top of our everyday expenses for food and vet care. We refuse to give up on Flora, Mulky and Shadow, but we can't do this alone. Your support can make a world of difference in their lives. By contributing to our fundraising efforts, you can help cover the costs of their veterinary treatments, medications, and ongoing care. Here's how you can help: 1: Make a Donation: Any amount, no matter how small, will go directly towards Flora, Mulky and Shadow's medical expenses. Your generosity will provide them with the critical care they urgently need.

2: Share Their Story: Spread the word about our fundraising campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. Every share brings us one step closer to reaching our goal and giving these kittens a chance at a healthy future. 3: Offer Support: If you're unable to donate, consider offering support in other ways, such as donating supplies or volunteering your time to help care for the kittens. We believe that every life is precious and deserving of love and compassion. With your help, we can ensure that these 3 kittens receive the lifesaving care they need to overcome their illness and thrive. Thank you. |
