WE ARE HEARTBROKEN AND OVERWHELMED

The last couple of weeks have broken us. Emergency after emergency has come through our doors, and despite fighting with everything we have, we lost two tiny kittens — a little girl who deteriorated suddenly, and her brave brother who passed peacefully after trying so hard to stay. Their loss has devastated us.

While grieving them, Jill was rushed to the vets. Her worsening umbilical hernia is making her very unwell, and she may need her operation far sooner than planned. We are trying to stabilise her, but she is struggling.

Then came more babies in danger — a 3½‑week‑old kitten clinging to life, another brought in weak and covered in fleas after its sibling died, and finally the rest of the litter rescued with the help of the fire brigade. All fragile. All needing urgent care.

And just when we thought we couldn’t take any more… another two babies were found dumped in a bag down an alleyway.

When will this stop?

Our vet bills are spiralling, our funds are running out, and we are terrified of not being able to save the next life that needs us.

In the last couple of weeks, we have been hit with an overwhelming number of emergencies, and we are now at breaking point.
We have lost two tiny kittens in vet care — a little girl who deteriorated suddenly, and her brother who passed peacefully in his sleep after fighting so hard. Their loss has devastated us.
At the same time, our little Jill had to be rushed to the vets this morning. Her umbilical hernia is worsening and is now making her very unwell, with sickness and severe bottom‑end issues. She may need her operation much sooner than planned, and we have been given medication to stabilise her over the weekend.
But the emergencies didn’t stop there.
We were asked to take in a 3½‑week‑old kitten found dangerously hanging onto the grass verge of a gap in the undergrowth. While we were at the vets collecting that baby, another kitten was brought in — covered in fleas, weak, and alone after its sibling passed due to flea anaemia. We took that kitten too.
The very next day, we received another call: the rest of the litter belonging to the 3½‑week‑old had been found with the help of the fire brigade, and they were brought into safety. We now have the entire litter in our care.
All of this has happened within a couple of weeks, and our vet bill is rising faster than we can keep up. Our bank account is now running worryingly low.
We never like to beg — but to continue helping these sick, abandoned, and homeless babies, we urgently need your support right now.
